MESSAGE: CONFIDENCE IN BUILDING HOMES
Father’s Day

I Cor. 3:10 – Using the gift that God gave me, I did the work of an expert builder. Now each of you must be careful how you build.

Matt. 6:33 – Seek first God’s Kingdom and His righteousness, and all the other things will be given to you as well.

CONFIDENCE TO BUILD HOMES

Make God the foundation.

Proverbs 24:3 – Through Godly wisdom a life, a home, and a family is built, and through understanding it is established on a sound foundation.

I Cor 3:11 – No one can lay any other foundation than the one we already have, Jesus Christ.

Proverbs 12:3 – You can’t find firm footing in a swamp, but a life rooted in God stands firm.

Proverbs 14:26 – Reverence for God gives a man deep strength; his children have a place of refuge and security.

Hebrews 11:1 – Faith, is the firm foundation under everything that makes life worth living. It’s our handle on what we can’t see.

Remember what matters most.

Galatians 5:6b – The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.

I Cor. 13:1-3 – If I could speak with human or angelic eloquence, but didn’t love, it would be just noise. If I could predict the future and explain every mystery but didn’t love others, it would be worthless. And if I had such great faith that I could move mountains, without love, it would mean nothing. And even if I gave all my possessions to the poor and sacrificed my body, without love, it would be of no value.

Luke 9:48 – Anyone who takes care of a little child is caring for me. Your care for others is the measure of your greatness.

Gather the right companions.

I Cor. 15:33 – Do not be fooled. Bad companions ruin good character.

Proverbs 14:7 – Escape quickly from the company of fools; they’re a waste of your time and words.

Proverbs 2:20 – Join the company of good men and women, who will keep your feet on the right and true paths.

Best way: Join a good Church.

I commit to a great purpose.

Matt. 20:26 – Whoever wants to be great must become a servant.

Mark 8:35 – If you insist on saving your life (for yourself), you will lose it. Only those who give away their lives for my sake and for the sake of the Good News will ever know what it means to really live.

I John 2:17 – This world, and all its desires, will pass away. But the man who does the will of God will live forever.

Have courage to stand alone.

Exodus 23:2 – Don’t join any crowd that intends to do evil, and don’t be swayed in your testimony by the opinion of the majority.

I Cor. 16:13-14 – Stand true to what you believe. Be courageous. Be strong. And everything you do must be done with love.

Isaiah 32:8 – An honorable person acts honestly and stands firm for what is right.

I Chron. 12:32 – There were 200 men of Issachar who understood the times and knew what they ought to do.

2 Samuel 10:12 – Let us fight bravely to save our people and the cities of our God. May the Lord’s will be done!
